01 Verifying a certificate
Anyone can check the validity of a certificate issued by IQ Cert, free of charge, by entering the certificate number in the online verification service on this website. The result shows the name of the certified organisation, the standard, the scope of certification and the status of the certificate.

- Valid: the certificate is in force; the organisation fulfils the certification requirements and surveillance audits have been carried out at the required frequency.
- Suspended: certification is temporarily invalid; the organisation is not entitled to refer to certification until the suspension is lifted.
- Withdrawn: certification has ended by decision of IQ Cert or at the request of the organisation; the certificate is no longer valid.
- Expired: the period of validity has ended without recertification being completed.
03 Written confirmations
On request, IQ Cert provides written confirmation of the status of a certificate to any interested party. Send your request to [email protected], quoting the certificate number or the name of the organisation.
04 Publication of information
In accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1, IQ Cert makes publicly available information on certificates granted, suspended or withdrawn. Information on suspension or withdrawal is updated in the verification system on the date of the decision.
05 Forged or misused certificates
If you have reason to believe that a certificate has been forged, that it is being used by an organisation other than the one named on it, or that the IQ Cert mark is being misused, please report it to [email protected]. Reports are handled in accordance with the Complaints and Appeals Procedure.
